Some more design work, this time for talented illustrator and fine artist friend Lauren Schwind. Lauren needed a portfolio site for school, so I helped her create this. At first I wanted to go the Wordpress route, but decided that for my clients needs, it would be unnecessary, and did the traditional HTML/CSS approach instead.

Did some web design work this month for friend Bill DeYoung, entertainment writer of the Savannah Connect Newspaper. This was a great experience, as I got my first experience in the Wordpress world. What a great way to design, and it makes it so easy for me to update from afar, and to teach my clients how to do the same.

A flyer I designed for Electric Grandma's first outdoor venue performance, right across the Talmadge Bridge in SC.

A fun photoshop project I took upon this morning after being inspired by local entrepeneur and owner of Southern Pine, Ramsey Khalidi's photo. The table legs inspired smokestacks, and the rest just formed from there!

Today is the official release of a collaborative video directed by local film maker Adam Bailey and put together by many members of our Savannah music community and my band, Word of Mouth This is actually what you would call a PRE-mix, even though the song is aptly titled, WOM Remix, (WOM short for Word of Mouth).
The hip-hop community in Savannah is definitely thriving, as made apparent by locals, Knife and Kid Syc, collaborating with Miggs Son Daddy and produced by his brother in New York, The Monsta!
WOM is currently mixing down the 12-song album we recorded last fall in Nashville, and this is a 'remix' of the title track, "Word of Mouth". It will be nice to have the original mixed and mastered to compare the two. Check out the Word of Mouth website for actual stems from the Nashville tracks. And without further adieu, the WOM Remix:

What's up gang? It's been quite some time since I've been free to update, but that means that there is a beautiful backlog of content that I have been working on to share with you all! The most recent is my first demo reel, comprised of work since I began learning Motion Graphics in 2010. These last few years have been such an adventure of learning, creation, and finding the balance between my love for motion media design, animation, and music composition. So to no further ado, please enjoy my demo reel!

My fiance Lucia and I have been really putting alot of great momentum into our side project, Electric Grandma. We just finished our 9-track album and today I put the finishing touches our our Electronic Press Kit. It is currently residing as the home-page of our website until I get around to redesigning a whole new layout for our online domain. So to add to my todo list we have: Electric Grandma website, EG logo, EG promo video, Word of Mouth EPK, Word of Mouth website.... Dang, I have a lot of work todo everyday, but you know what, I am loving every minute of it! :)

It's been awhile since an update, as I've been busy building my band Word of Mouth's website! This is like the fourth or fifth incarnation, and I even spent a few months building a flash site! But ultimately I returned to what I know best, good ole CSS/HTML. I'm really proud of my work, I feel it's my best to date. Please take the time to visit and let me know what you think!

A quick ad I made starring myself for Epiphone guitars. No I don't have sponsorship through Epiphone, but a guy can dream can't he? Perhaps we'll call this my manifestation of a dream.

Uploaded some new photos from a 3D modeling project I had at SCAD last fall. I'm still making some tweaks to the video, but here are some pictures to whet your appetite.
This is the Presonus Eureka mic pre-amp that I modeled in Cinema 4D.

Was inspired to work on this after thumbing from some recent shots when friends were in town. This ladder was used to pull the Spanish Moss off of our trees, as they can be at times a bit suffocating. The rest of the piece pretty much just made itself.

Have been working on my band's official website for the last 5 days and have gotten it to a good first draft rendition so far. Lots of tweaks and refining to come over the next week or so, but I've begun to really enjoy the art of web design!

Just made a few updates to the site, should be uploading some final projects from my last Fall 2010 quarter at SCAD very soon. I've been getting the itch to write some new music as I've been so immersed in the visual world of things lately. Check out some of my tunes on Soundcloud:
